Jaill bandDespite hurricanes, giant orb-weaver spiders, and other regrettable aspects of the prologue of Autumn, Greensboro is still throwing down. WUAG 103.1 FM and Campaign for a Better Greensboro (CFBG) are co-presenting a can’t-miss show at The Blind Tiger to bid summer adieu.

Jaill of Sub Pop Records, an indie pop band hailing from Milwaukee, is headlining the event. Also taking the stage are Fergus & Geronimo, a Brooklyn-based psychedelic R&B duo, who have been touring with Jaill. If you’re wondering, yes. Yes, you need more psychedelic R&B in your life. Lastly, representing North Carolina on the line-up is Naked Gods, rock ‘n’ rollers from rocky Boone.

Is it worth your time? Watch this album preview from Jaill, which might show a pig wearing a birthday hat getting handfed an ice cream cone by a band member. Jaill’s most recent album was also voted Album of the Week by exFM. So there’s your answer.
