ArcBARKS Dog Treats

Roxie with her ArcBARKS treats

While Roxie and I were at the 2011 Festival of Lights in downtown Greensboro, I ran across a special booth that was giving away ArcBARKS dog treats for small donations. The treats are all natural and consist of peanut butter, flour, oatmeal, vegetable oil, and water. Roxie just loves the treats and gets excited if she hears me opening up the package.

No secret ingredients make this treat so special more than the love put into the handmade biscuits by people called “Special Bakers”¬†right here in Greensboro. The awesome Special Bakers are people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities that are hard at work but don’t let anything get in their way. ArcBarks is a project of the Arc of Greensboro, a nonprofit organization that provides job training, education, advocacy & opportunities for disabled individuals. ¬† Roxie and I support ArcBARKS and think that you should too.

These treat packages would make yummy valentines for your canine darlings and you can feel good knowing that your dog not only has a healthy treat but that you are helping people who truly deserve jobs keep them. Each package of 18 dog treats is sold for a $5 donation. For more information on ArcBARKS or to purchase, go to, call (336) 373-5083, or email
