CFBG’s: Record Co-Op Grand OpeningJan 20th, 2012 | By Avalon Kenny | Category: News
Greensboro has been desperately in want of a record store, and that need has recently been filled. CFBG (Campaign For a Better Greensboro) has recently given us just that. Their record co-op has over 8,000 new and old records, along with CDs by local artists and listening stations. Some of you may recognize one of the vinyl collectors as Jack Bonney, a familiar face to UNCG’s radio station, WUAG, and Greensboro.
The co-op’s grand opening is Saturday, January 28th, at 11 AM and will feature live DJs, cold beer, and many new records. The opening will be presented by CFBG and Avant Greensboro. Come check it out – we’re sure you’ll find records from many of your favorite artists, and you might even come across your new favorite band.
Monday – Saturday, 1-8 pm.
